In Late September 2000, with approval from Forestry and money received from
grants and fund raising, building was started on our A-frame shelter.
With 30-plus volunteers putting in more than 700 combined hours, "Dacha", our
cottage in the woods, came to life.
The Dacha is equipped with a wood stove, basic utensils and two bunks for an overnight stay.
